Great service and guided tour Our guided tour with Samneang was nothing more than excellent. He guided us to the best spots to look for the sunrise or to avoid crowds. He was also very thoughtful with our 9 yers old daughter, and gave us really great background for the Angkor Wat history, the country’s history and even Hindu and Buddhism. We would definitely recommend him and his company for any plans that you would like to accomplish while staying in Siem Reap.

A fabulous trip Sam was a fantastic guide for our two day tour. The perfect mix of informative, interesting, engaging and with excellent English. He shared huge knowledge not only of ancient Khmer culture but also Cambodia’s recent and challenging history. The tour was a great mix of different temples and included just the right amount of time. The bus and cold towels were great too. All in all an excellent trip. Thank you.

Highly recommended two days tour to Angkor Wat We had a wonderful tour to the temples with tour guide Bun and driver Keal. We can highly recommend going on the two days tour, to see not only the amazing Angkor Wat Temple itself, but also other temples like Banteay Srei, built with pink sandstone including incredibly well preserved carvings. Bun told us all the stories we needed to get a fantastic experience of the beatiful and very interesting temples that we visited. Service was very good, with water always supplied and good AC i the bus.

Highlight of our holiday! We had a really fantastic trip! Sam our guide was so knowledgeable - he told us everything we could possibly have wanted to know about the temples and their history and context, but also about Khmer culture and modern history. His English was also amazing! It was just brilliant - every time we returned to the coach we had fresh water and refreshing towels so the heat was very manageable. We were fortunate to see an amazing sunrise too. All in all, the trip was everything we were hoping it would be and more. Thank you!

Itinerary

Day 1: Kampot

Sua s’dei! Welcome to Cambodia!

This morning travel from Phnom Penh to Kampot, we’ll hop in a comfy air-con vehicle and drive south. It’s like a road trip, but way more fun!

On the way, before reaching Kampot we’ll make a stop at Phnom Chhngok. It’s an ancient temple hidden in a cave and it was built for a Hindu god named Shiva.

When we get to Kampot, you’ll see why it’s so special. This place is famous for its yummy pepper. Long ago, fancy French restaurants loved using Kampot pepper in their food. They also grow a stinky fruit called durian here. Some people love it, some hate it – you’ll have to decide for yourself!

In the evening, we’ll go on a boat ride to watch the sunset. The sky turns all sorts of pretty colors! And if we’re lucky, we might see some fireflies twinkling in the dark. It’s like nature’s own light show!

Include Activities:

  • Kampot – Phnom Chhngok limestone cave
  • Kampot – Sunset boat cruise (join-in)

Optional Activities:

  • Kampot – Khmer Massage – USD5

Day 2: Kampot

This morning after breakfast, visit the salt fields which stretch across much of Kampot’s coastline. After learning a bit about the salt production here. Then it’s onto the Kampot Pepper Project. Grown in Cambodia for centuries, Kampot pepper is considered the world’s finest. Today, pepper is also seen as an important symbol of Cambodian regeneration. You’ll taste some pepper ice cream here before heading to Kep Beach for lunch – the nearby Kep markets serve fresh crab cooked to perfection – and eat on the pier overlooking the ocean. After lunch, walk along the coastline and explore the old oceanfront buildings. Kep was once Cambodia’s most popular and prestigious beach town, but the Khmer Rouge destroyed many of Kep’s mansions and villas. The ghostly remains now stand as a silent reminder.

Include Activities:

  • Kampot – Countryside
  • Kampot – Pepper farm visit
  • Kampot – Salt field visit

Day 3-4: Koh Rong

Get ready for an awesome island adventure!

First, you’ll be pickup from hotel by our driver and then drop off at Kampot International tourism Pier. Then, the real fun begins as we zoom across the water on a speedy boat to from Kampot to Koh Rong Island for about 2h15min. It’s like finding a hidden treasure in Cambodia!

Noted: Koh Rong has 2 main pier, such as Pier Long Set and Pier Koh Touch. So which pier to stop at will depend on your accommodation location. We recommended you to check with your accommodation on which pier to stop to avoid misunderstanding.

Koh Rong is a magical place with the softest, whitest sand you’ve ever seen. The ocean is super blue and perfect for cooling off on hot days. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even explore the jungle!

For three whole days, you get to do whatever you want on this beautiful island. You can:

Splash around in the clear water
Look at colorful fish while snorkeling
Paddle around in a kayak
Just chill out on the beach like a lazy starfish

The best part? Choose to stay in a quiet spot away from noisy crowds, so you can truly enjoy the peace of the island.

Don’t forget to ask the friendly hotel staff for cool ideas on fun things to do and yummy places to eat. They know all the best secrets of Koh Rong!

Include Activities:

  • Koh Rong – Return speedboat
