In the foothills of Kulen Mountain lies the Bos Thom Community Forest, home to the former elephants of Angkor. After 22 years of giving rides at the temples, these elephants now roam freely in their natural habitat, symbolizing a changing world.

With only 75 captive elephants left in Cambodia, protecting them is more urgent than ever. Visiting the Kulen Elephant Forest supports both the Angkor elephants and conservation efforts for all elephants in Cambodia, with a focus on education and tourism as key drivers for change.
