I am a highly passionate individual in the realm of travel and tourism. Since beginning my career in the industry in 2005, I have had the opportunity to work with an NGO with some hotels and several international travel companies in various positions. This experience has been both enjoyable and educational. My ultimate dream is to establish my own company in Siem Reap, creating more job opportunities for the local community and allowing international tourists to discover the best of Cambodia.   

Finding a starting point was challenging, but I consistently monitored tourism trends. I conducted research and learned about customer behavior regarding booking day tours in Siem Reap and Cambodia. I encountered a couple who were considering booking a tour with a street shop but were unsure about the quality. They mentioned that booking day tours online in Bangkok was much easier compared to here. I also met other travelers with concerns about their budget not meeting private tour costs, tour quality, safety, and feeling lonely during their holiday in Cambodia. They had limited learning experiences on tuk-tuk tours without guides but enjoyed connecting with fellow travelers and learning about local people, history, and culture.

These concerns led me to develop innovative solutions to address these issues. How about creating a reasonably-priced small group tour package that allows travelers from different parts of the world to join? This would enable participants to connect with each other during the tour, which would be led by our experienced guides, ensuring a warm and safe experience within the beautiful Kingdom of Cambodia. To sell these packages, we would primarily utilize digital platforms and collaborate with online travel agents, making it easy for travelers to find and trust us based on customer feedback. This is how Journey Cambodia was born and becoming the first local company to list our products on an online travel agent platform.

Mrs.Seky NGUON
Finance Manager 

Seky has been working with JOURNEY CAMBODIA since the beginning stage of the company as a Finance Manager.She earned her bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance from Build Bright University in 2013. Besides that,  she completed a Tax Agent training course with honors in 2019. Seky is currently responsible for the company's finance and tax management.

 

Ms.Sethavin SIM (Sundra)
Products & Sales Supervisor

Sethavin graduated from École d'Hôtellerie et de Tourisme Paul Dubrule in 2019, majoring in Travel Agency & Operation. Right after finishing school, she joined the sales team at Journey Cambodia and in 2022 she was promoted to Products & Sales Supervisor. Her role is to do online sales and some marketing activities as well as develop and manage product offerings. 

 

Ms.Karona PEN (Ana)
Sales Consultant

Karona graduated from Sala Bai Hotel and Restaurant  School in 2023 majoring in Front office department, during her 2 years program at Sala Bai she had done 3 internships in Sime Reap at Aamansara hotel and some southern Island such as Song Saa Private Island, Koh Russey resort.  Despite majoring in Front office, Karona found herself enjoying arranging the tour package when there is an inquiry from the customer. she would make sure to arrange a tour that matched customer interest.

 

Mr.Ravoth BUN (Ra)
Operations Supervisor

Ravoth is an Operations Supervisor at Journey Cambodia. He has a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of South-East Asia. He has been with the company for over 5 years and was promoted to Operations Supervisor in 2022. He oversees day-to-day operations, tour guide & driver management, logistics, and customer service. He ensures the company meets operational goals and objectives.

 

Mr. Phalla CHHOU (Paul)
Operations Assistant

Phalla, graduate with a bachelor's degree from the University South-East-Asia with a major in Hospitality and Tourism Management 2022, Phalla has been working in the tourism sector for more than 5 years. He is an experienced Operator who assists the supervisor in arranging the booking before handover to all the tour guides & drivers. With a passion for travel, Phalla enjoys exploring new destinations and learning about different cultures. He believes that travel is one of the most enriching experiences a person can have.
