Q1: How should we pay if we book tour direct with JOURNEY CAMBODIA?
A: Tour Booking with no deposit is required and the payment to be collected (cash - usd) on the day of the tour.

Q2: We only have one day for temples tour, which tour we should book?
A: There 3 options of our one day temples tour which are Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour, Full Day Temples of Angkor and Best Temples with Sunset in one Day. These 3 tours will cover 3 major temples in Angkor Complex which is Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom (including Bayon) & Ta Prohm Temple. The Sunrise tour will depart early before sunrise (around 4.20am), Full Day Temples of Angkor and the sunset tour will depart around 7.40am. All 3 tours will visit the same temples but difference departure and finishing time. All 3 tour duration will be approximate 8 hours and around 10 hours for the sunset one.

Q3: What are the inclusion and exclusion for these 3 small group tours?
A: - Inclusion: Experienced English-speaking tour guide, air-con vehicle, hotel pickup and drop off, mineral water and cool towel.
- Exclusion: Temples entrance fee & meal

Q4: What are different between Small Group and Private Tour?
A: Small Group Tour will be joining with other people while the private tour will be only the group of your people in your booking. 

Q5: What is the maximum group size for small group tours?
A: 10 people will be the maximum group size. 

Q6: What is the minimum age to join the small group tour and why?
A: 5 years old is the minimum age to join as younger than 5 years old because it will affect the group. 

Q7: We love the small group itinerary but is the private option available as well?
A: Yes, sure private options are available for any small group tour and the tour price is base on the number of people in your booking. Please mention that you love to do the private tour instead of the small group in your booking. 

Q8: What are the start and finishing time for each temples tour?
A: Below are the start and finishing time for each tour:
- Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour: Pickup time between 4.00am – 4.30am and finish between 12.30pm – 1.30pm
- Full Day Temples of Angkor: Pickup time between 7.30am – 8.00am and finish between 3.30pm – 4.30pm
- Best Temples with Sunset in one Day: Pickup time between 7.30am – 8.00am and finish between 6.00pm – 7.00pm
Note: the exact pickup time to be informed the evening before tour start and slightly different depending on your hotel location. 

 

 Know Before You Go:

Q9: How long will it take from Siem Reap Airport to Siem Reap City?
A: It will take approximately 15mins with 8km distant. This really depends on your hotel location in Siem Reap city and how busy the traffic. This transfer is available with air-con vehicle and Remork (tuk tuk).

Q10: We will start our temples tour tomorrow should we buy the temples ticket today?
A: purchasing the temples ticket before tour star is not necessary event sunrise tour on the day group will have stopped at the ticket booth and assisting by the tour guide to purchase the ticket before get to the temple. 

Q11: Does the temples ticket (temples pass) accept both credit cards and cash? 
A: Both are accept 

Q11: Does the credit cards are accepted at the local restaurant at the temples?
A: No, only cash is accepted and you might need to prepare before tour start.

Q12: Do we need to exchange money to the local currency (Khmer Riel)?
A: No, US dollar is accepted everywhere in Cambodia.

Q13: What would be the dress code for the temples tour?
A: Respectful dress with cover your shoulders and knees are required both male and female (shoulders covered by scarf not allow).

Q14: Where will we have lunch at the temple?
A: There will be local restaurants nearby the temples and will be assisting by your tour guide

Q15: What else to prepare before tour start?
A: For your ventures outside we recommend you to leave your airline tickets, passport, and the bulk of your cash/ travellers cheques at your hotel for safekeeping. Just take enough valuables to cover your temples entrance, lunch, tips and be wary of pickpockets. Please make sure that sunglasses, hat, camera, comfortable walking shoes, mosquitoes or insects repellent are long with you is possible.
